Born in sea water. Out of curiosity, she invented "air diving apparatus" to dive into the adventure on the ground surface.
海中生まれ。好奇心のおもむくまま、空気中へのダイビングを可能とする"潜気具"を発明。地上への冒険の旅に出る。
Carefree bug / のんき虫
Born in a provincial botanical garden. Loves basking in the sun. His favorite phrase is "It'll be all right".
地方都市の植物園生まれ。日向ぼっこが大好き。口癖は「なんとかなるさ」
Stardust / 星屑
Born in interstellar space. Accidentaly fell onto the Earth. Some thinks it might be a meteorite but it insists that it is "stardust".
宇宙空間生まれ。アクシデントで地上に落ちてきた。隕石ではないかという説もあるが、本人は星屑だと言い張っている。

Story
Born in the sea and knowing nothing else, Fishgirl is driven by her growing curiosity to embark on a journey to collect terrestrial sounds. Wrapped in a specially invented air-diving apparatus—created with the help of a wise deep-sea elder—she ventures onto the surface, microphone and recorder in fin. Along the way, she meets an easygoing land-dweller called “Carefree Bug,” and a “Stardust” fallen from the cosmos. Together, the three begin a journey through a world overflowing with beautiful, curious, and exciting sounds. A strange trio on an endless—possibly eternal—journey of rediscovering the surface of the Earth through listening.
海に生まれ、海の中しか知らないフィッシュ・ガールは持ち前の好奇心の高まりに突き動かされて、ある日「地上の音」を採集する旅に出る。深海の長老と共に発明した”潜気具”（空気中へのダイビングができる装置）に身を包み、マイクと録音機を抱えて地上のあちこちに出現する。旅の途中で地表生まれの気楽な「のんき虫」と、宇宙から落ちてきた「星屑」と出会い、一緒に旅を続けることになる。地上はたくさんの美しい音、楽しい音、ワクワクする音に溢れている。奇妙な三人組の、始まりも終わりもない— 永遠に続くかもしれない — 地上を再発見する音の旅。
About
Creatures on the surface of the Earth—especially humans—have stopped listening. Not only have they tuned out the sounds of their own planet, but many have also forgotten that they live upon a beautiful, floating star in the vastness of space. The ear, once a symbol of harmony, has become an empty chamber, numb even to noise and violence. By closing our eyes and listening to distant sounds from the tiny corners of the world, we can shift our awareness—from a cosmic perspective back down to a single point of sound. This act of listening becomes a quiet celebration of mystery, of presence, of being part of a shared planet. Fishgirl’s journey is not only a collection of terrestrial sounds— It is also a gentle act of listening to the fading sound of humanity, lost in the din, with wonder.
地球（地上）に住んでいる生物（特に人類）は、地上の音にもはや耳を傾けないばかりか、自分たちが地球という美しい星の住人であるということをほとんど忘れて毎日を過ごしている。耳はかつて調和の象徴だったが、今は感動を呼び起こさないただの空洞となったため、汚れた音や暴力的な音のはびこりにさえ、彼らは無関心になってしまった。目を瞑って、世界の片隅の音を聴く。それは、広い宇宙空間に浮かぶ地球という星を遠くから俯瞰するところから、徐々に意識をその音が鳴っている場所へと移して、宇宙の不思議と、存在の奇跡を祝福し、一つの星の住人であるという感覚をもう一度取り戻す試みとなる。フィッシュ・ガールの音採集の旅は、日々喧騒にかき消されてゆく人間性に、静かに耳を傾ける旅でもある。
