We are opening our show sheep #1 at The Tank, NYC on Saturday, May 5!
It is a Microscopic Live Cinema-Theatre work with live music by Emile Blondel.
Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's writings, sheep #1 is an intimate soul-searching journey through visual and sound, without spoken word.

5月5日（土曜日）から三週間、The Tank (NYC)で sheep #1 の公演をします。
sheep #1 は顕微鏡ライブシネマシアターの始まりとなったレパートリー。今回は大幅な改訂を加え、ライブのピアノ演奏つきで上演します。
アントワーヌ・ド・サン＝テグジュペリの著作に着想を得た sheep #1 は、ナレーションなしで映像と音で語られる自分の内側への「旅」です。

もしお近くにいらしたら、ぜひこの「旅」を体験しにいらして下さい。

Upcoming event: Installation opening + performance

I am working on a new kinetic installation with an engineer Willie Gambucci!
This is an installation version of a small excerpt of Everything Starts from a Dot.
Usually I manipulates objects during the performance, but in this exhibit small "robots" are the ones who manipulates the objects! Please come meet our new performers!

The opening will be on Friday, April 13 from 7PM-10PM at The Plaxall Gallery, Long Island City (NY). And the exhibit is from April 13 - May 13.

At the gallery opening on Friday, April 13, I am also performing with Gamin, who is a very interesting contemporary musician playing traditional Korean instruments. We are developing a new performance CosmiConte now and we'll show a small part of this work during the opening. Our show is from 7:30PM.

４月13日に新しいインスタレーションを発表します。エンジニアのWillie Gambucciさんとコラボレーションしています。
パフォーマンス「Everything Starts from a Dot」の一つのシーンを動くインスタレーションに作り直したものです。いつもは私がコントロールしているオブジェを、なんと今回は小さな「ロボット」達がコントロールします。
展覧会のオープニングは4月13日（金）午後7時から10時。
会場はロングアイランドシティーのThe Plaxall Galleryです。
展示は４月13日から５月13日までやってます。

また、4月13日のオープニングでは7時30分より、韓国の伝統楽器を駆使して現代音楽を奏でる音楽家Gaminさんと作っているパフォーマンス作品「CosmiConte」の一部をちょっとお見せします。音楽と映像で抽象的な物語をつくっていく試みです。入場無料ですので、気軽に遊びにいらしてください〜（投稿 by サチヨ）
